Atlante Private Equity – Fondo di Private Equity, managed by IMI Fondi Chiusi SGR of Intesa Sanpaolo Group has acquired a minority stake in the share capital of Svas Biosana S.r.l., a Campania-based player owned by the Perillo family, active over the last 40 years in the medical device field and, through its subsidiary Industria Farmaceutica Galenica Senese S.r.l., in the production and marketing of injectable solutions. The Group has over 200 employees and a yearly turnover of about Euro 47 million.

The investment was carried out through a Euro 6 million share capital increase subscription.
For the legal aspects of the deal, Atlante was assisted by Roberto Leccese, partner of Ughi e Nunziante, together with senior associate Giuseppe Coco and, for the antitrust matters, by partner Davide Balboni and by senior associate Andrea Marega (formerly with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Rome office). Atlante has also been assisted by PWC Transaction Services. Attilio Ferrari and Andrea Pedeferri of CFMP advised Svas Biosana on the contractual profiles.
