Ughi e Nunziante and EY assisted PM & Partners SGR S.p.A., the management company of the PM & Partners III fund, in signing a binding agreement for the acquisition of a majority stake in Montana S.p.A.
The agreement provides that the historical shareholders, outgoing chairman Gianluca Moro, and the management team, led by Laura Conti (CEO), will continue to manage the company while retaining a 35% stake.
Founded in 1991, Montana generates €20 million in revenue and is a leader in the engineering and environmental services market. In recent years, thanks to its commitment to the renewable energy sector, the company has achieved significant growth both in revenue and global presence.
PM & Partners is a leading private equity operator in Italy, with over €700 million raised across three funds and more than 40 transactions. The acquisition of Montana is the ninth transaction completed by the PM & Partners III fund, including direct investments and follow-ons.
