Arribatec Group ASA, a Norwegian company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, has sold its Arribatec Marine division to Star Information Systems AS, also based in Norway, for a total valuation of approximately 25 million Norwegian kroner.
Arribatec Marine is the division of the Arribatec Group specializing for over 40 years in consulting, development, and implementation of IT systems and software for fleet management, including through the Infoship platform. The division is headquartered in Italy through its parent company IB S.r.l., which also hosts part of the development team, and has subsidiaries in the USA, Cyprus, and Germany.
Star Information Systems, a portfolio company of the Longship fund, is one of the leading global providers of Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAM) for the maritime sector.
The sale represents a strategic move for Arribatec Group ASA, aligning with its objectives of business streamlining and strengthening its financial flexibility. For Star Information Systems, the acquisition enables the integration of a company with solid experience in the maritime sector and complementary expertise, ensuring Arribatec Marine the necessary support to accelerate its growth and development.

The sellers were assisted by the Norwegian law firm CLP, with partner Andreas Kildal and senior associate Axel Woxholth. The buyer was supported by the Norwegian law firm Wiersholm, with partner Svein-Helge Hanken and associate Joachim Berle
