Ughi e Nunziante in the homologation of the restructuring agreement of SISA

PRESS RELEASE

The restructuring process of S.I.S.A. S.r.l., a Brescia-based company operating in the fuel sector with a network of 25 service stations in Lombardy, has been successfully completed.

The company finalized a debt restructuring agreement pursuant to Article 57 of the Italian Code of Business Crisis and Insolvency (CCII), within the framework of the negotiated crisis settlement procedure, involving around 100 creditors, and approved by the Court of Brescia.

The restructuring plan provided for the indirect continuation of business activities through a complex transaction with the main creditor Retitalia S.p.A., which enabled the business to resume operations.

Thanks to this transaction and the disposal of certain non-core properties, the company was able to ensure the full repayment of all creditors.

SISA was assisted on all legal aspects by Ughi e Nunziante, with a team composed of partners Simone Rossi and Giacomo Bonfante, associate Giacomo Rossetti, and trainee Gianluca Iannuzzi, as well as lawyer Giuseppe Scotti of Scotti Studio Legale Associato. The role of financial advisor was carried out by Studio Girardi e Tua, with partners Mauro Girardi and Gabriella Tua.

Retitalia was assisted by Giovanardi Studio Legale, with managing partner Carlo Alberto Giovanardi and partner Martina Paiardini.

The restructuring also involved the appointment of Dr. Francesco Baldiotti of Studio Baldiotti Masotto Associati as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO). The role of certifier was held by Dr. Davide Felappi, while Dr. Giacomo Ducoli served as the expert in the negotiated crisis settlement.
