Technological innovation and new risk scenarios are redefining the role of professionals in the insurance sector. Lawyers and consultants today face issues ranging from data protection to corporate crisis management and new regulations on catastrophic risks. What are the main challenges and opportunities?
The feature available in today’s edition of ItaliaOggi gathers insights from industry experts, analyzing emerging trends and implications. Among the interviewees is Filippo Mazza, who explained:

Furthermore, it is highlighted that “The insurance sector has faced cases of insolvency and run-off, which have had a significant impact on the evolution of the crisis model applied to the insurance sector. Examples from recent years include Faro Assicurazioni, Eurovita, and FWU Life, all cases in which IVASS (the Italian regulatory authority) intervened decisively to protect policyholders and manage financial crises.”
